Sean's 2nd Birthday

Hello
Sean is now a big boy. Not really he is only 2. He has thought he is a big boy since well at least since he was 1 but only when he wants to be and he never lets us know when that is it's kind of a shoot and miss type of thing.
On the morning of his big day we woke up and he hung out in his pjs watching conference and hanging out with Grandpa. Big thumbs up for that.
Daniel did a fabulous job of making BBQ pork. I love it when my man grills and smokes pig or beef it always tastes so delicious.
I got some decorations put up. The theme if you must call it that was construction. The reality is Sean likes pretty much anything with wheels that makes noise.
I decorated the door.
I tried to decorate the two poles on the porch and they looked great when I was done with them they just didn't stay that way. I also didn't fix them at this time and then I got distracted so they stayed this way.
Pre-party snack. He still liked hanging out with Grandpa but no conference this time it was all about the Cowboys vs Aliens. Grandma was more scared of the movie than Sean.
The cousins arrived and the fun was started. They played games for Easter eggs with prizes in side. There was the hula hoop contest, hot Yoda(hot potato with a stuffed Yoda), and Star Wars Toss. Since it was April Fools the big Winner and the looser each got to pick eggs first. The best shot was Tessa who got Yoda into a little red bowl 12-15 feet away. She was the only one that made the shot and I forgot to  take pictures of that game and hot Yoda so here are some hula shots. Sean vs Will
 Tessa vs Meaghan
Amie vs Phillip. Amy took that whole game that twiggy thing sure can move those tiny hips.
Sean's Birthday cake. I tried to make wheels on the cup cakes but I wasn't very good with my rim designs. Too much rim not enough tire.
Sean had is own cake with orange cone candles so he didn't spit on every one's cake. He dug into it better than he did his first cake.
He still would rather play with the tractor that was on it.
He did leave a quality mess for me to clean.
Last game of the day was the pinata. Sean was much better this year. He kept wanting to turn the bat around and hold the big end but he got it.
He liked hitting it to the violent little monster.
All the kids had fun taking their turns. Tessa had a hoot.
Meaghan was determined to hit it and she broke it first.
 Phillip kept swinging and missing.
Amie had the truck on her head most the time.
William wasn't going to do it at first but then he saw all the other kids have a whack at it and he was ready and charged to go. He even wanted the blind fold.
Craig would hit it but then miss when it came back to him.
Sean had fun watching from the sidelines with Grandpa. Daniel I think had the most fun messing with the kids.
On the second round of hitting Sean made some good connections.
Last was presents. Sean started dancing to the card from Nana and Papa.
Looking good in his new glasses.
Awe more sticks to hit with and balls to throw. That is right we don't hit balls with sticks in this house that's way to complicated.
Now he can grill with his daddy.
 Look how excited he is.
Concentrate while you shake the car and it will make lots of noise.
Awe the big truck to drive around.
Now he's ready to roll this summer.
He wanted his dad to put the truck together so Daniel got to work. Sean was doing his best to help, with just the steering wheel. He put it wherever he thought it went. Not on the bike.
I am so happy Daniel is good at putting things together and I think he enjoys it as long as the instructions are in English and makes sense and the parts go together with no problems. This was not one of those toys but he did a great job.
Sean was all about the supervising.
He just couldn't wait to play on it so he didn't. I believe that was the biggest assembly complication.
 It tastes good too.
"Dad does it go here?" no Sean it doesn't that's the gas tank.
"Dad how about here?" no Sean.
"It's black and round so it must be a tire and go here." no Sean.
If it wasn't for diapers there would be baby butt crack.
At least one wheel is on so he was ready to climb in and go.
Ha ha the steering wheel is in place and this is the coolest horn he's had.
Awe a boy and his truck. What could be better...
Oh Yeah being in the truck...
or standing on it so he can fall and break something. Crazy little boy.
After Dad had gone to sleep and the truck was done. Sean had to go drag the box back out to play with that. Go figure.
